She is currently completing a PhD in Creative Practice at the University of NSW, where her research focus is on intersectionality in screen culture and production, under the supervision of Dr. Jodi Brooks and Dr. Tanja Dreher.
Pearl Tan is the Senior Lecturer in Directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
